Community Events

Our Y.A.R.N. Ministry (You Are Really Needed) meets the third Wednesday at 1:00 pm.   Join us to knit or crochet items such as prayer shawls, blankets, hats and scarfs which are given to people in need.  Spend some time in devotion and fellowship with us too!

Join us each month for our Third Thursday Events.  Bring a bag lunch and meet us in the Fellowship Hall at 11:30 am.  We’ll provide the beverages.  In recent months, we’ve tried our hands — and feet — at line dancing, partnered with the YMCA for a “Halloweenie” party, and visited Reynolda House (followed by lunch at a local restaurant) . Be our guest for our monthly Community Fellowship Meal at 6 pm on the second Wednesday evening of each month. Menus vary, and it’s always good. First-time diners eat free! Each month features a special presentation or activity after the meal. In January, we learned about the Farm to School program here in North Carolina.
