Burkhead United Methodist Church is committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ in word and deed. We are called to offer Christ to others and to provide an environment of nurture and care as we grow in faith.

We reach out to the world through missions. Not only do we support local and foreign missions with our money, we offer opportunities for our members to participate in "hands on" missions.

We reach out to the community through our Preschool Program.

There are opportunities for members and non-members to grow in their faith through Disciple Bible Study classes and spiritual growth opportunities. We offer Companions in Christ studies which is a program of the Upper Room.

Sunday School is offered on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am.

Our United Methodist Men meet each month on the 4th Sunday (except November and December). The men gather for breakfast at 8:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. The UMM raise funds through their annual Pine Needle Sale. This money is used to support missions, Boy Scout Troop 911, and the Burkhead Softball Team.

Our United Methodist Women meet following worship for lunch once a quarter following worship. There is a program or a report on missions. These opportunities to come together for fellowship strengthens the community of love found at Burkhead.
